The car park Zans is subject to charge and an ideal starting point for many hikes in the Nature Park Puez-Geisler. It is possible to reserve a parking space for cars at the Zans car park online.

Only a limited number of parking spaces at Zans car park are available for reservation. If online reservations are no longer available for the selected date, this simply means that the allocation of spaces reserved for online bookings has already been exhausted. However, this does not mean that the parking area is full. The remaining parking spaces are allocated on site on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.

If therefore, the parking lights in Ranui are green, you can still reach the Zans car park by car and buy your parking ticket directly on site. If the parking lights in Ranui are red, the entire car park on Zans is occupied. In this case, access with your own car is only possible with an online reservation. If the entire car park in Zans is full, you can use the alternative car parks in St. Magdalena (Ranui, Putzen, Filler car parks). You can also set off on foot from there for hikes to the mountain huts or take the public bus 330, which reaches Zans every hour.



Please note that day-rate tickets for camper vans and motorhomes cannot be reserved in advance. Separate rates apply to these vehicle categories. These tickets can only be purchased on site, subject to availability.

For the online reservation, please enter the plate of your car in the field provided without spaces and special characters.

With an online reservation, you can continue to Zans even when the traffic lights are red. Please take the confirmation with you and show it at any checks. If you selected the Südtirol Guest Pass Slow Dolomites Card fare, you must also show your Slow Dolomites Card on spot.

Reservations for the Zans parking area are binding. Once a reservation has been completed, no refund of the amount paid can be issued. Requests to change the booking date must be submitted no later than the day before the originally booked date and in any case within the office’s opening hours, as requests can only be processed during opening hours. Any change is also subject to availability of bookable parking spaces for the new date.

The parking fee corresponds to the daily online rate and guarantees the parking space for one car.

Through the Eisacktal/Valle Isarco to Klausen/Chiusa turn into Villnöss/Funes valley and drive to Zans. There is a paid car park available (car park Zans).
