Climbing Dolomites – Odle & Peitlerkofel | Val di Funes

Touching the rock

Climbing in the Dolomites is more than just a sport. It is a silent dialogue with the mountain. When your hands grip the rugged dolomite and your focus rests entirely in the here and now, the noise of everyday life simply fades away.

Whether you move vertically in the climbing gardens of Villnöss and Lüsen or ascend toward the sky on secured via ferratas: it is about trusting your own strength and consciously experiencing the geological history right beneath your fingertips.

Dance on the rock: Sport climbing

In the climbing gardens at the Zanser Alm and the Würzjoch, you will find the finest dolomite rock set against a breathtaking backdrop. Here, the focus is not merely on grades of difficulty, but on the elegance of movement.

For rainy days or winter training, the Vertikale Climbing Center in Brixen or the indoor hall in Lüsen provide the perfect space to refine your technique—ensuring that once you’re back out on the rock, every hold feels secure.
