Between Villnöß and Lüsen, you will find a space that does not ask for performance, but for presence. Whether you are wandering on silent paths, exploring the expanse on two wheels, or seeking concentration on the rock: every moment is an opportunity to rediscover your own rhythm.

Hiking

Here, it is not performance that counts, but your own rhythm. Whether you are strolling on quiet valley paths, hiking across vast alpine meadows, or seeking rocky heights: our 400 km of hiking trails are an invitation to forget time.

For long-distance hikers, the Dolorama Trail (61 km) is an experience of deceleration: in four stages, it leads from the Lüsner Alm to Lajen. Especially the stage on the Adolf Munkel Trail, directly beneath the vertical walls of the Geisler, lets you feel the power of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Every step leads you deeper into a landscape that has preserved its primordial character

Mountain Biking

Glide silently through the vastness. On our low-traffic forest and alpine paths, you will find the perfect "flow" between physical activity and nature enjoyment. Accompanied by the panorama of the Geisler group and the Peitlerkofel, you cycle through fragrant coniferous forests to rustic huts that live genuine hospitality.

Our guided "Slow Bike Tours" combine movement with taste: we visit farms and taste products directly where they are produced. Thanks to state-of-the-art e-bikes from local rentals, even longer tours become an effortless experience where your gaze remains free for the beauty along the way.

Climbing

The rock teaches us focus and humility. The Dolomites are a place of vertical silence where every grip is a direct touch of Earth's history. Whether on the via ferratas on Sass Rigais and Peitlerkofel or on the Günther Messner Trail: at the top, the effort gives way to a feeling of boundless freedom and a 360° panorama.

In the climbing gardens at the Zanser Alm and Würzjoch, you will find grippy rock for mindful movements in all levels of difficulty. Families discover the heights together in the Villnöss High Ropes Course – playfully, safely, and in the heart of nature.
